This is an interesting series that I'm currently mixed on. The premise when the first season had come out lived up to the hype we all hoped for sitting down to watch what was expected to be an NBC blockbuster. Let's see, Jack Coleman plays Noah Bennet, Greg Grunberg is Matt Parkman, Robert Knepper is Samuel Sullivan, The incredibly hot Ali Larter is both Niki Sanders and Tracy Strauss, James Kyson Lee is Ando Massahashi, Masi Oka is Hiro Nakamura, Hayden Panettiere is the equally hot Claire Bennet, Adian Pasdar is Nathan Petrlli, Zachary Quinto is the brilliant Gabriel Gray or Sylar, Sendhil Ramamurthy is Mohinder Suresh, Cristine Rose is Angela Petrelli, Milo Ventimiglia is Peter Petrelli, Kristen Bell is Elle Bishop, David Anders is Takezo Kensei or Adam Monroe, Dania Ramirez plays Maya Herrera, Dana Davis is Monica Dawson, Noah Gray-Cabey is Micah Sanders, Leonard Roberts is D.L. Hawkins, Santiago Cabrera is Issac Mendez and finally Tawny Cypress played Simone Deveaux. Oh my God!!!! As riveting and interesting as this show is, the cast number I've just written is the same undeniable problem. This show is getting frustratingly complicated. NBC must have sketchpads, graphs, shelves stuffed with files and a storage factory to keep all these men and women straight. So many were the characters in fact that one particular actress had to take on several roles. They chipped that off to multiple personalities and cloning, but I think they just ran out of actors!
If people with powers like this existed I could completely see them hiding and running from secret government authorities just like in the show. In that direction I find the show suspenseful and entertaining. Several characters have endeared their trials and lives to the viewers which I don't think anyone could speak less of concerning this series. However, a warning NBC. The majority of people watching television are attempting to relax and unwind. A series were an address book filled to the brim with alphabetically placed names so as to keep track of this small town sized cast can not be a reasonable prerequisite in continuing successful seasons to come.
